I think that impending sickness I complained about implied was coming decided it wasn't going to mess around with me, and left to bother someone else. So to celebrate, I wore all of my favorite things today: polka dots, a bright scarf, a pretty ring won in a giveaway, and cute flats.
I would like to thank my immune system for showing those germs who is boss, my boyfriend for making me food all weekend while I sulked about the "sickness" and my dogs for giving me snuggles whenever I asked for them.
I think from now on I'm going to fake sickness whenever I don't want to make dinner. Seems to work like a charm! ;)

You know why you almost caught a cold, right? Hussy ankles. ;) Glad you're feeling better!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea to fake sickness - I hate making dinner!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I seriously want that shirt! I keep hoping to find a cheaper version somewhere.
You look super cute and not sick at all. I really need to get my hand on a cute polka dot top like that.

Ahh you're so lucky to have won Katrina's giveaway!! I love the bright scarf and polka dots. Are there, like, white polka dots AND black polka dots on your shirt? Excuse me, I mean, poke a dots.
ReplyDeleteYay for not being sick!
ReplyDeleteugh i think it came to my coast instead. love the pop of color and the ring! too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dots and scarf (is it ombre? I can't tell). If anyone needs me, I'll be sulking that I might get the flu for the rest of winter in order to stave it off. You're a medical professional, so i consider this solid advice.
ReplyDeleteLoving your outfit! And the bunny ring. My BFF is obsessed with bunnies (even has a tattoo), so I may have to get that for her for her upcoming birthday!
ReplyDeleteyou look adorable. Glad you are feeling better
ReplyDeleteSO glad you aren't sick! And what a perfect outfit to celebrate in...the polka dots and bright scarf are perfect!

I can't get over your outfits!
ReplyDeleteGood for you telling the sickness who is boss! I need to tell mine that right now because I've been sneezing non-stop for two hours.
Cute cute cute oufit! Love that scarf with the polka dots.
ReplyDeleteI'm on sickness prevention overload. I practically walk around with a belt full of anti-bac wipes and hand sanitizer. I've given my husband countless lectures about how to make sure he does not bring bacteria into our home, and I wipe down every surface that isn't paper at my office when I get in and when I leave.
It's fine, not obsessive, I JUST HATE SICKNESS. Whew.
Your outfit screams, CUTE!!! I love the polka dot and orange scarf together; extremely cute! I have been eyeing this top for a while, but haven't made the effort to order it. Eeekk. I will soon and most likely recreate your outfit idea!

Glad you feel better! This is a great cheerful outfit to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI love that your shirt appears to have black AND white polka dots - that or I've had my contacts in way too long today...The scarf really pops against this, so bright and cheery!

You certainly wear some cute outfits under your Lab Coat. I am also glad that you are feeling better from what I can read. And this Polka Dot top is cute with that scarf. Adorable ring, too.
