tickled pink

DSC01819
I think that impending sickness I complained about implied was coming decided it wasn't going to mess around with me, and left to bother someone else. So to celebrate, I wore all of my favorite things today: polka dots, a bright scarf, a pretty ring won in a giveaway, and cute flats.

I would like to thank my immune system for showing those germs who is boss, my boyfriend for making me food all weekend while I sulked about the "sickness" and my dogs for giving me snuggles whenever I asked for them.

I think from now on I'm going to fake sickness whenever I don't want to make dinner. Seems to work like a charm! ;)

  4. Ahh you're so lucky to have won Katrina's giveaway!! I love the bright scarf and polka dots. Are there, like, white polka dots AND black polka dots on your shirt? Excuse me, I mean, poke a dots.

  6. Love the polka dots and scarf (is it ombre? I can't tell). If anyone needs me, I'll be sulking that I might get the flu for the rest of winter in order to stave it off. You're a medical professional, so i consider this solid advice.

  11. I can't get over your outfits!

Good for you telling the sickness who is boss! I need to tell mine that right now because I've been sneezing non-stop for two hours.

  12. Cute cute cute oufit! Love that scarf with the polka dots.
I'm on sickness prevention overload. I practically walk around with a belt full of anti-bac wipes and hand sanitizer. I've given my husband countless lectures about how to make sure he does not bring bacteria into our home, and I wipe down every surface that isn't paper at my office when I get in and when I leave.
It's fine, not obsessive, I JUST HATE SICKNESS. Whew.
