When I was playing around with what item from Monday to wear today (I didn't go to work yesterday so no pass it on for Tuesday!), Kelly from Alterations Needed (one of my favorite petite/overall bloggers) shared a video on vine on layering...and I realized I had all of those pieces! Ta-da, outfit made. I think this is one of my favorite outfits yet - it was comfortable yet polished.
Plus my spiffy new camera lens makes everything look so fresh and so clean.

So I almost almost almost bought the similar loafers you linked to, but I'm on 30 day cleanse..darn it. They're so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd "comfortable yet polished" is the exact description I had in my mind when I first saw this.
Completely changed the look! You don't even notice that it's the same shirt! So polished, refined, and stylish! Loving these layers! Love your watch too girlie!
ReplyDeleteLove it! And the series too. I'm having a go on my own blog this week :)

This is one of my favorite outfits you've worn yet. All you need is a cute little tie to tuck into the sweater, and it'd be so money.
ReplyDeletePREPPY STAMP OF APPROVAL.
Love this layering and the blazer is AMAZING! Love the detailing on the sleeves :)
ReplyDeleteWhere you are standing- is that the road? Are ppl where you live driving around on roads like that?? We would freak out over here & not leave the house (massive snowfall happens once a year in Hampshire if we are really unlucky). Do you have snow chains or special winter tyres? I'd be bricking it quite honestly so am fascinated to think you've been driving around on roads like that all week!
ReplyDeleteKiller new lens dude! And I love this polished yet jeans look! I could totally wear that to a meeting with my grad advisor! I LOVE IT!!!

Jeans and a Teacup
This is a great layered look! Loving the colored shoes too.
ReplyDeleteYay! You mastered the new lens in record time! What kind of lens did you get?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this look! And I agree that Kelly at AN is awesome at layering! In fact, my goal of buying a blazer this year is so I can copy all her outfits! So excited that I will now be copying you, too! ;) I kid...
OMG that was probably the most steady/well-put-together vine I've seen yet.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the layers, of course. I've been wanting to try the look out but it just feels so bulky to be wearing two shirts, a blazer, AND a coat over that (because the blazer on its own isn't warm enough) so I'll have to wait until it's slightly less cold :)
So jelly of your fancy camera lens.
Holy smokes girl, these photos are GORGEOUS! I feel like I'm re-meeting you, and I've never even actually met you. What am I saying? I don't know. I just love these photos. Holla for new lens'! What kind is it?
ReplyDeleteAlso, obviously I love the outfit. What's not to love about bootcut and layers? Nothing.
Ooh, yeah those pictures look really sharp!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute look, I love the layering! I'm really enjoying seeing so many bloggers doing this challenge, I think Sarah had a brilliant idea for this!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I have all those pieces and will definitely put something similar together for myself. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute and chic outfit. I love it! I've been looking for some cute sweaters and button-up shirts. Unfortunately, the fashion scene is going through a sheer only phase with the shirts LOL. But I love the looks that you have going on here.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I saw this while I was traveling but my phone wouldn't let me comment...arg! Thank you so much for the kind words!
ReplyDeletePS...I had hussy ankles all over NYFW and thought of you! LOL. =)
i have these shoes too!
